Looking for Research Experience in Biology?

Check out BURA, the Biology Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship program!
BURA provides a website for Biology undergraduates to apply for research apprenticeships in the life sciences. This is a great place to learn about active research projects and to find a laboratory for honors thesis work. Many laboratories prefer to start with students in their freshmen, sophomore, and junior years, so don’t delay in taking advantage of research opportunities! Note: These positions are competitive. The best way to get into a lab is to write a thoughtful cover letter that includes any experience you have had in research and the number of hours per week you will be able to commit to a project. Try to distinguish yourself from all the other applicants! The BURA website is here: https://www.bio.umass.edu/bura/
Positions will be posted on the website on August 28. Upload your applications between August 29 – September 9. Applications accepted on a rolling basis – the earlier you apply, the better!
