Adult Shortnose Sturgeon
The best available information indicates that, like most other migratory fish species, Shortnose sturgeon never made it above the fall line at Turners Falls. We would be most interested in sightings of these animals above the Turners Falls dam.
In addition, we would be interested in knowing of any sightings of small sturgeons (less that 1 ft total length) anywhere in the river.
