Any numbered Catocala species in four North American check lists may be displayed in parallel scrollable frames, allowing detailed comparisons between check lists (i.e. synonyms and varieties held at the time) that previously could not be easily compared.  The four frame page requires a reasonably high resolution monitor and a page definition set higher than 800x600.  A three and two frame alternatives are available for more modest monitors.
