Patek lab members publish the "feature article"in Aquatic Biology
Patek lab members and colleagues publish a new journal article about mantis shrimp rumbles in the field. The paper features the first field-based recordings of the eerie rumbles produced by the California mantis shrimp, Hemisquilla californiensis, and the results suggest that multiple mantis shrimp are sequentially producing sound.
