Cruz Bay

Travelling to St. John took a whole day -waking up at an unholy hour in the morning, then on a bus to the airport in Hartford, fly to San Juan, then fly on a smaller plane to St. Thomas.  Cruz Bay provided the ferry connection from St. John to St. Thomas.  And from the ferry, we took taxis around the island to VIERS.

Cruz Bay is also the tourist center of St. John.  Around the ferry area are many restaurants, bars, and shops.  On our last night in St. John, we went back to Cruz Bay for a little shopping and fun.  We got there in time for dinner, and most of us went to the Banana Deck.

The "Last Supper" of almost all of us together (Mahtab K.)
We had interminably long wait for our food (we did have a table comparable to the Last Supper, but the waiters were also probably trying to get everyone to spend as much as possible on drinks), but it was quite good when we did get it.

Dancing Doug (Brian G.)
After dinner and shopping, all of us met up at Duffy's Love Shack.  Dancing, drinking, and fun...

It's no wonder that so many people slept through the trip home...
