Dr. Susan Leschine, Professor of Microbiology, has been chosen as one of the "Top 25 Women in Tech" by AlwaysOn. Dr. Leschine was selected for her discovery and further research of the Q Microbe and its ability to produce ethanol. Her research led to the founding of Qteros.
The Brachypodium genome is now available. Version 4.0 of Phytozome is now available and includes JGI v1.0 8x assembly of strain Brachypodium Bd21 with JGI/MIPS PASA annotation.
