Brachypodium distachyon added to QuantPrime, a flexible primer design tool for high-throughput qPCR. QuantPrime is an intuitive and user-friendly, fully automated tool for primer pair design in small- to large-scale qPCR analyses.

Consortium member Sue Leschine named one of the Top 25 women in tech.

Dr. Susan Leschine, Professor of Microbiology, has been chosen as one of the "Top 25 Women in Tech" by AlwaysOn. Dr. Leschine was selected for her discovery and further research of the Q Microbe and its ability to produce ethanol. Her research led to the founding of Qteros.

The Brachypodium genome is now available

The Brachypodium genome is now available. Version 4.0 of Phytozome is now available and includes JGI v1.0 8x assembly of strain Brachypodium Bd21 with JGI/MIPS PASA annotation.
