:: Microbiology 160 Students Receive
LiveSTRONGtm Bracelets ::

December 2007: On Friday, December 13, students enrolled in Microbiology 160, Biology of Cancer and AIDS, received LiveSTRONGtm bracelets. The bracelets were donated to Dr. Wilmore Webley, Assistant Professor of Microbiology, by the Lance Armstrong Foundation along with packets of information on cancer survival and treatment.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation is a registered, nonprofit organization located in Austin Texas. It was founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and one of the worlds best cyclists, Lance Armstrong. The foundation exists to inspire and empower people with cancer as well as their families. The foundation believes that “in the battle with cancer, unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything.” – LAF .
