:: Women Who Make a Difference ::

May 2007: Almaris Alonso, Ph.D '07, has been selected as one of the first recipients of the Women Who Make a Difference Award. Dr. Alonso was selected to receive the award for the contributions she makes to the lives of women of color. The award, instituted in 2007, will be given annually by the Women of Color Leadership Network at the University of Massachusetts.
