:: Congratulations 2008 Microbiology Graduates! ::

Where are graduates of the Microbiology Graduate Program going? Javier Izquierdo (Ph.D. Fall '07) is a Research Associate in the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. Emily Clark (M.S. '08) has received a fellowship to the Ph.D. program at the University of  Lausanne in Switzerland to work with Dr. Claus Wedekind. Gregory Vladimer (B.S. '08) will study Yersinia pestis in the Ph.D. program at UMass Worcester. Eve Rungrassamee (Ph.D. '08) has accepted a research position at the National Center for Genetics Engineering and Biotechnology in Thailand. Yajing Hu (Ph.D. '08) has begun post-doctoral study at Stanford University's School of Medicine. Lawrence Feinberg (Ph.D. '07) is a Research Scientist at Mascome Corporation and Ines Scholl (M.S. '08) will be a diploma student at Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany. Natalie Neubert (M.S. '08) was accepted into the Tri-National Biotechnology Program in Strasburg, France.  Only 40 applicants are accepted to this program each year from four European universities.
