Tours Microbiology Research Laboratory ::
October 2007: Daniel O'Connell, State Secretary of the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, visited the UMass campus on Monday, October 29, to discuss Springield's connection to UMass and to review research in the life sciences and advances made in the production of clean energy. As part of the visit O'Connell toured the laboratory of Microbiologist, Derek Lovley, to review work underway on bioremediation and microbial fuel cells. Read more....
