:: Nature adopts UMass Software for 3D Views ::

March 2008: Nature now makes it easy to explore new protein structures with 3D View links that utilize the FirstGlance in Jmol software developed by Professor Emeritus Eric Martz. Nature Structural and Molecular Biology adopted Martz's software two years ago. Nature began the 3D View links in its November 30, 2007 issue. The free, open-source software is now used by several journals and structural bioinformatics resources.
