:: Faculty Member Receives Lilly Teaching Fellowship ::September 2004: Pablo Pomposiello, Assistant Professor of Microbiology, was awarded a Lilly Teaching Fellowship for the 2004-2005 academic year. The award provides funds for release from teaching responsibility and allows the fellow to participate in activities aimed at improving undergraduate education in the University community. Dr. Pomposiello is the first faculty member from the Microbiology Department to receive a Lilly Fellowship. The Program is sponsored by the Center for Teaching and the Provost's Office at the University of Massachusetts.
