:: New Study Shows Chlamydia Present in
Bronchial Lavage of Pediatric Patients ::

May 2005: Assistant Professor of Microbiology, Wilmore Webley, has recently published his findings of a new study in which the presence of Chlamydia pneumoniae was found in the bronchial lavage fluid of children with asthma and other respiratory disorders. The study is published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Crtical Care Medicine, Am J Respir Crit Care Med 2005; 171:1083-1088. The findings of Dr. Webley's study were also reported in Reuters Health News.
