Laser Scanning Confocal Facilities:

• Zeiss 510C META   (Zeiss Website)
• Zeiss Axiovert fully automated microscope, on anti-vibration table.
• Objectives: 10x, 25x Multi-immersion, 40x 1.3 N.A., 63x 1.4 N.A.)
• Transmission detector channel; excellent DIC along with confocal fluorescence images.
• Argon Laser (Lines at 458 nm, 477 nm, 488 nm, 514 nm; 25 mW total)
• HeNe Laser1 (543 nm; 1 mW)
• HeNe Laser2 (633nm; 5 mW)
• 4 simultaneous channels per scan
• Multi-tracking
• META detector: 32 element spectral detector, 10.7 nm  per element; adjacent elements can be "grouped".
• 3D software package

Related Facilities:

• Duplicate full, licensed package of the Zeiss software on a separate workstation for offline image operations.
• AutoDeBlur software package (AutoQuant) is available for client use. Multichannel deconvolution and 3-D rendering package.
