The Tecnai 12 is our newest TEM, installed in June 2000. This has the Teitz CCD Camera system. This is a Photometrics PXL camera integrated to operate with the Tecnai12 microscope.

JEOL 100S

The JEOL 100S has been our workhorse microscope for many users. It is relatively easy to learn and use, and provides excellent images through the 60,000x range. The film system is very easy to handle, making it ideal for instruction and routine use that doesn't require the advanced capabilities of the Tecnai 12.
