Pollinator sharing among neighboring plant species can range from competition to facilitation. I am exploring the conditions that determine the outcome of this interactions. I am first investigating whether phylogenetic relatedness and similarity in floral morphology can determine whether pollinator sharing in a given species pair will be competitive or facilitative. Next, I plan to identify the factors explain variation in pollinator-mediated interactions within a species pair beginning with relative species density and plant arrangement.
