The Plant Biology Graduate Program Office is located in Morrill South, room 217, just across from the Morrill Science Library. The Plant Biology Conference Room is next door- Morrill 215. The conference room can seat 25-30 comfortably with 12 chairs around a long conference table. The room has a white board, screen and overhead projector and an ethernet connection. Reservations are made through the online BCRC calendar . From the BCRC page, go to the drop down menu 'reservations' then 'Morrill Rooms'.
The priorities for use of the room follow these general guidelines:
1. Seminar activities
2. Journal clubs
3. Class/discussion graduate level meetings (600+)
4. Graduate student presentations/defenses
5. Lab meetings (if more than 1 hr., they should try not be scheduled during lunch time)
6. Weekly undergraduate classes/discussions (honors sections, etc.)

Activities within the PB program and Biology Department are given priority and requests for regular room use on a weekly basis are solicited at the beginning of each semester for review. For additional information or if you have questions, please email us at pb@bio.umass.edu.
