Embedding in Butyl-Methyl-Methacrylate

This resin sysetm is ideal for immunocytochemistry because the embedment is removable (to a large extent) after sectioning by means of a brief incubation in acetone. Provided that DTT is added to the resin, the preservation of antigenicity is outstanding.

The resin system is also very easy to section.
