I joined the Karlstrom Lab in June of 2015 after completing the required graduate laboratory rotations. In 2010, I obtained my BS in Biology at Worcester State College before joining the laboratory of Dr. Nathan Lawson at UMass Worcester as a research technician. There I worked on research studying the development of the vascular system.

My project in the Karlstrom laboratory is focused on understanding the role that Sonic Hedgehog signaling plays in the regulation of neural precursor proliferation in the larval and adult zebrafish hypothalamus.
