[bcrc-staff] 12-2 shift

Regarding covering shifts: staff should not be making private 
arrangements to cover shifts, so you should be able to check the list 
archive to see if anyone has replied to the message. (You can always 
find the archive by following the link at the bottom of every email from 
the list.) If no-one has replied, the shift has not been covered.

The corrolary is that when you ARE able to cover someone's shift, be 
sure to reply back to the LIST so that everyone (including me) can see 
that you're able to cover it.

And, as always, if multiple people propose themselves, the FIRST message 
to show up in the archive is the one who gets the shift.
