In the Staff Manual, I encourage staff to get up every 15 minutes or so
to walk through the BCRC and check stuff. Some of the things you should
check:
Make sure people aren't struggling and don't need assistance.
Move chairs so that each workstation has an adjustable chair (on the
left) and a caper chair on the right.
Make sure all of the tables are connected together and positioned
correctly. (Crawl underneath to check how they're connected, if you're
not sure).
Make sure the dividers are up, if class is not in session.
Make sure that the AV system is powered down unless it's in use.
Make sure workstations are clean and tidy.
Make sure the cables are dressed properly (not dragging on the floor).
Remember: your employment in the BCRC should be about making the BCRC
function efficiently -- it's not just time for you to study.
