Figure 7D.  Relative warps of a thin plate spline comparison of average landmarks of 12 male and 10 female wings of Drosophila immigrans.  Similar to D. melanogaster, the major difference between the male (blue) and female (red) landmarks of D. immigrans wings is seen to be a dilation of the distal two-thirds of the wing blade in the male compared to the female.  A non-motion gif of Fig7D is available.
