Instructions for projector

1. Hook up your computer to the projector via the cable on the front wall. It is the standard VGA connection, so most Macs will need their adaptor as well as some PCs.

2. Turn on the projector - either by the projector remote control (on/off button) or by using the rubber end of the wooden pointer to push in the on/off button on the projector itself. A new pointer is on the overhead projector cart. I do not recommend standing on the chairs or the table...

3. To adjust the image, push the "auto pc" button on the remote or on the projector itself. Do not make any other adjustments.

4. The remote will generally be in the room during regular hours (in the left hand drawer of the rear lab table) otherwise it will be in the PB office, Morrill 217. Please, be careful not to take the remote or the cable by mistake!

5. Keep the windows closed to prevent dust and dirt from getting in the room, and leave the blinds down. The AC works by pushing the manual control buttons, but is rather noisy unless kept on low.

6. Make sure the room is locked when you leave!
